“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much” – Helen Keller
Cappella of Grand Junction is a beautiful building. We have amazing team members working here. But what really sets us apart – what really makes the difference – is the culture of community being created here.
At a recent resident council meeting, residents talked about what they love about living at Cappella of Grand Junction. Of course, they love the food and the services and the team members. But what really stood out to them was how deeply everyone cares for each other. Everyone who works and lives here makes an effort to get to know one another, to laugh together and to support one another in the tough times. And this culture of caring has been created in an amazingly short period of time. In a world where people are increasingly suffering from isolation and loneliness, Cappella of Grand Junction is a welcoming oasis.
And, in addition to just making people feel good, this culture is likely helping people to live longer…and better! Loneliness is as deadly as cigarette smoking and more deadly than obesity. Life is just better when we have deep and meaningful connections to one another.
I hope you’ll join us as we continue to grow our community and welcome more new friends and neighbors!
