On Saturday, October 26, Cappella of Grand Junction and St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church hosted the 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat. This event was created by Misty Trout, Cappella’s Community Life Director as a way for residents and team members to provide local children with a safe and fun Halloween experience. Starting at noon team members from Cappella and Pastor Strong and four church members began preparing for the event by dressing up and decorating their cards. Trunks were filled with free candy to pass out and candy apples and popcorn balls were for sale. In total, about 100 children came by. It was a joy to watch the interactions between generations on this fun and very special holiday.
