Knowledge At Noon: Vestibular Therapy
Join us for this important presentation focusing on ways to help dizziness and imbalance.
Presenter Michael Gilroy, DPT, Vestibular Therapy Specialist is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with advanced certification in vestibular rehabilitation since 2019. The vestibular system, located in the inner ear, plays a critical role in balance and spatial orientation by helping us understand head movement and position.
In this session, Michael will discuss common conditions that cause dizziness and imbalance—such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, and other disorders—and explain how targeted physical therapy interventions can help reduce symptoms, restore function, and improve quality of life.
Lunch will be provided.
