Last month, Cappella of Grand Junction residents and team members bottled, corked and named our very own Viognier white wine. To bring a new and engaging experience to the community, Culinary Director Keane Karnan, Activities Director Misty Trout and Cappella of Grand Junction residents teamed up with The Lil’ Ole’ Winemaker, which provided wine-making kits. After crafting a Chardonnay, the residents, Karnan, and Trout chose Viognier for their second batch.
“Peachy Keane” Viognier will be enjoyed at dinner and happy hour events at the community. The Daily Sentinel recently shared the story of how the wine got its name – read the story and watch the video feature below!
KKCO 11 News also shared how Cappella of Grand Junction residents and team members frequently gather to enjoy one of our cherished community pastimes – wine tasting! Read or watch the story here.
