Life Plan Community
Life Plan Community
Life Plan Communities are designed to remove uncertainties about the future by securing access to a variety of living options and services for seniors should the need arise in the future. Also known as a continuum of care community, a Life Plan Community protects you if your health or financial needs change over time.
Our Life Plan Agreement guarantees access to our senior living options, which include independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing care, short-term rehabilitation, and adult day services.
We also offer a convenient rental plan for those who would prefer that option.
Benefits of Community Life
Benefits of Community Life
At all ages and stages of life – and especially in older adulthood – experiencing true community can have a significant positive impact on our well-being. Meaningful friendships and genuine connections help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation, which can have measurable effects on our physical and mental health as we age.
Senior living communities can help set us up for a healthy aging journey by providing numerous and diverse opportunities to build a social network, contribute one’s unique gifts and talents, and pursue pathways for continued growth and possibilities.
What is the Cost of Senior Living?
What is the Cost of Senior Living?
The average cost of assisted living in the United States is around $4,000 to $7,000 per month, varying significantly due to level of care needed, size of floor plans, the community’s location, and the amenities provided.
Additionally, many senior living communities offer different pricing models that can make it challenging to do a side-by-side comparison of cost. Some communities will have a large entrance fee and others will be rental-based. Some may have monthly costs that are based on the level of care and support needed, while others are all-inclusive.
While senior living costs can seem expensive, their range of services and amenities can help contribute to an improved quality of life for residents and peace of mind for their families. To better understand how the cost of senior living compares with current costs of living at home, calculate your mortgage or rent, homeowner or renter insurance, utilities, property tax, groceries, home care, etc. Senior living pricing typically includes meal options, utilities, housekeeping and laundry services, cable and WiFi, community amenities, and life enrichment programming.
