Memory Care

A memory care community specializes in care for those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Communities will provide private and/or shared apartments, with common areas for dining and activities. These communities are secured for the safety of the residents. Staff is specifically trained for the special needs of this population.

Memory care communities are ideally suited for those who do not need skilled medical care found in a nursing home, but might require some assistance with daily activities. Pricing also varies from all-inclusive to base rates with levels of care/point system for care. Payer sources usually accepted are private pay, some insurance plans and some Medicare.
